Anita’s professional experience and personal interests cover a range of areas – including film production, science and technology, photography, architecture, site-specific cultural events and live performances in general. Having trained in theatre design CSM, Anita undertook a costume making apprenticeship at Laban centre for contemporary dance. Her 10-year career as a Costume Designer and Supervisor included various productions, ranging from fringe theatre and contemporary dance shows, to short and feature-length films. After unexpectedly taking a role at Formula One Management for three race seasons, Anita became increasingly interested in the workings of larger businesses and how they align alongside cultural and arts organisations. In combining her range of experience, Anita worked for a start-up events company specialising in large budget private events, and is currently works on client events for a large multinational based in the City of London. Through MA ACE, Anita looks to further focus her broad range of skills and professional experience in a socially beneficial and culturally relevant context.
