Creative and Development

My name is Crystal and I grew up in Toronto, Canada. I am currently based in Hong Kong and I specialize in Modern and Contemporary Asian Art. Over the years, I have had some experiences with international art logistics that make me ponder upon ways that could potentially improve existing problematic areas. I think this is a particularly intriguing area because each country is subjected to its own judiciary system and the laws governing this sector differ from country to country and are interlinked with other areas of commence within each country.

Art Logistics and Collection Management in Asia – Over the past few decades, it has become increasingly popular for people to diversify their investment portfolio by procuring artworks or other categories of luxury collectibles, creating a new class of collectors since the millennial. The present endeavour attempts to address an unfulfilled gap in the market for high-quality but cost-effective and reliable art logistics and collection management services for fine art and luxury collectibles in metropolitan cities where dwellings are typically smaller, largely due to the high prices of residential and commercial real estates in cities such as Hong Kong. Even in cases where a storage facility has been secured for a collection, there are struggles and challenges in sourcing a holistic range of complementary services that are modestly or reasonably priced, such as local transport, international logistics, insurance coverage, collection management, and other complementary services that are typically only accessible to a seasoned collector or a high net worth connoisseur. The present model has insofar identified a plethora of complementary features that set it apart from its competitors, designed specifically to engender the sharing of experiences that foster new ideas in the arts and cultural realms.
